The Center for Nanointegration Duisburg-Essen (CENIDE) is an interdisciplinary research center at the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE, Germany) dedicated to advancing nanoscience and nanotechnology. CENIDE unites expertise from around 100 research groups in key areas such as catalysis, dynamic processes in solids, gas-phase synthesis of nanomaterials, magnetic materials, nanomaterials for health, and functional materials for energy applications, contributing to sustainable solutions for global challenges. CENIDE bridges fundamental research and industrial implementation with the NanoEnergieTechnikZentrum (NETZ) and the Interdisciplinary Center for Analytics on the Nanoscale (ICAN).

The UBE Chair for Sustainable Plastics of the Universitat Jaume I designs its activities aiming at reconciling the functionality and performance of plastic materials with their environmental sustainability. In collaboration with UBE, Jaume I University fosters research, innovation, knowledge transfer, teaching, and outreach activities to advance towards a more sustainable plastic paradigm.
